The German cannabis market has grown significantly in recent years and has become one of the largest growing medical cannabis markets outside of North America. When it comes to the push for adult-use cannabis legalisation and a regulated market, Germany is a promising place to be right now. Dozens of highly specialized cannabis distributors are already active in Germany. And local extraction companies, scientists and medical experts are increasingly getting involved in this exciting new market.
The Legal Cannabis Coalition (LCC) has found its origin within collaborations across a multitude of expert Dutch horticultural companies. The Netherlands is historically a world leader in the greenhouse and indoor cultivation of fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants. In 2003, it also became one of the first countries with a national medicinal program for standardized and quality-controlled cannabis. As a result, these Dutch companies have become world leaders in the fields of cannabis greenhouse construction, optimizing cultivation conditions, and laboratory analysis of cannabis products. Since its advent, the LCC has further broadened the expertise by the addition of other LCC members with a specific expertise in the field of the cannabis cultivation and processing, and currently welcomes members from all over the globe.
One of the main focus points of the LCC is sharing knowledge with cannabis professionals worldwide, and after a first successful event in 2022 in Portugal, we are excited to announce that the LCC is coming to Germany in May 2023!

LCC Legal Cannabis Germany event
The Legal Cannabis Coalition (LCC) is a consortium of companies active in horticulture and cannabis. The LCC members have hands-on experience setting up and servicing cultivators of different shape or form. We are planning a symposium in Germany close to Frankfurt in May 24th the day before Cannabis Business Europe. We plan a full day of sharing knowledge, practical experiences, networking, and services to support the German and European cannabis market. Presentations will cover all aspects of the production process of cannabis: from the preparation of your cultivation plan, to the postharvest steps and quality control needed for a marketable product.

Each LCC member is an expert in its own market, ranging from building greenhouses and installing LED lights, to lab testing and registration of a new medicine. Our members gained their expertise in the general markets of plant cultivation and medicine, but in recent years they have increasingly gotten involved with the world of legal cannabis.
